no hope

Inspired by Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis, the work stages the dissolution and reformulation of identity through an emotional and visual spiral. At the center of the piece, Holyadeux embodies rupture and despair through an incantatory repetition, amplified by an unsettling video aesthetic and fragmented screens. The body functions as a surface for writing, the screen as a porous membrane. The narrative, deliberately shattered, reflects a search for identity that never resolves.
The repeated mantra operates as both affirmation and negation, giving form to failure and alienation. Refusing any form of catharsis, the installation instead holds the viewer inside an oppressive tension, drawing them into a loop with no way out.
Through this visceral experience, an essential question emerges: what remains once the frameworks of identity collapse. Without offering an answer, the work stands as a cry, a space in which to lose oneself in order to imagine other ways of existing.
